PICCOLE ALI NEL VENTO

PICCOLE ALI NEL VENTO (small wings in the wind) is the first part of a trilogy dedicated to the piano.
The guiding principle for the music is the idea that everyone goes his own way. Everyone thinks about his own experiences and tries to give it a place. To be more yourself, to experience a renewed freedom, to get rid of everything and to fly.
To record this work Ciro Perrino chooses a studio in southern France. An old barn from the year 1600 converted into a recording studio located on a 1300 meter high mountaintop. Nature is unspoiled and there is silence. There are no towns or villages in the area. Here and there are some small farms. An ideal environment to concentrate on and empathize with the compositions.
In the spring of 2011 he records the album with a Bechstein A228 ¾ Grand piano.
